CUSTOM ORDERS

In design of any custom order we like to let you know up front that your first order may take a bit more time then a reorder of a design that has been completed. From the very first time you place an order, whether it is for a Belt Buckle or a medallion command coin it takes time to get your idea the way you are picturing it. It would be unfair for us to share an actual timetable in custom orders because you will be an integral part in the creation and approval process. Realizing this we provide the following general guidelines for our custom order processes and the cost to complete a unique and custom design just for you!

COST

Cost can vary depending upon the requested design and the materials you choose. Our staff will work with you to meet your budget needs and advise you on ways to best accomplish your project goals.

In the custom design of Belt Buckles the cost is dependent on your plating choice (gold, silver, brass or nickel plating) and the mold(s) necessary to complete your order. Each version of the belt buckle you wish to create requires a mold, there is a fee for each mold. For example: an order is placed for a Male and Female Buckle with the same design. The Male buckle will require a mold and the female buckle will require a separate mold (female buckles are smaller and the clasp is on the left vice the right). As you can see it’s extremely important to get it right the first time, once a mold is created even the smallest change will require a new mold and fee.

Normally we receive a design request from you and supply a qoute for the total cost to create the belt buckle or medallion command coin. Once you review and accept the quote an order deposits is required. Once your deposit is received we will then begin creating the artwork for your approval (please see our design process and timelines below). Deposits are applied to artwork creation and production costs of your full order. Deposits are non-refundable.

DESIGN PROCESS

We have been in business for a long time and have had the opportunity to see what is offered by our competitors. We are so confident in the quality of our product that we stamp our company name inside all our Belt Buckles and we gaurantee your satisfaction.

At SNiPS we value your time and your business and believe that through your input and approval in the custom process, you will be more then satisfied with your order.

TIMELINES

In general the custom design process can take between 8-12 weeks. Our timelines reflect the quality of the products we wish to be known for and in the case of our belt buckles the unique 3D look we achieve.

Concept Artwork: We will discuss the design you have in mind and review any images or materials you wish to supply. We will then send you a qoute on the design and production costs. Once you have accepted our initial qoute the initial deposit is due.

Artwork Production and Customer Review: The design concept artwork is reviewed by one of our talented artists and the artwork is created. Our artists normally need about 10 working days to complete any artwork request. There is no such thing as impossible for our art staff, as long as we are staying within the perimeters of our manufacturing abilities.

Once the artwork is complete, we promptly send it to you for your review and hopefully your approval.

Artwork Approval: Once your approval is received and you are satisfied that the artwork , it is sent to our production staff. Please note: Due to the nature of custom
designs once we have processed an order and production has begun we cannot offer a refund or return on the full cost of the order placed.

Order Fulfillment: Once we have your approved order in hand you can expect about 8 to 10 weeks turn around time for Belt Buckles and 4-6 weeks for other types of custom orders. During the order fulfillment process we will keep you “in the loop” in regards to what is going on via phone or email.

Requesting a qoute for a custom order is easy, simply create an account on our website, shop for the items you wish to select and fill in our qoute form, you may also upload your artwork if available at this time. In most cases all qoute requests are fulfilled within 24-48 hours.
